I noticed that when I went to the library to study, I got quite a few of approach invitations. So, today I decided to capture on it.
I ejected. But I noticed a few things:
- I got more approach invitations in the library.
- Zero competition.
The problem is: How can I capture on the approach invitations?
Also, I noticed a few problems with me:
- When people looked at us, I crumbled under the social pressure.
- Maybe she didn't hear that clearly because I kept the voice low volume, so it was not clear.
Logistics: The library is quiet. So I can't keep the conversation long. My plan is to use an indirect, then transition to direct, propose a date, get a number, then get out.
Do you approach girls in the library at all?
I had a few successes with this opening style in study lounges and classrooms, but not library.First attempt: This girl was staring at me a few table away when I walked by. I went near her and sat down.
Me: Do you have a pencil?
Her: Yes
She went into her bag, searching for a pencil, and also giving me a big eraser => good sign, she invested a lot.
I took the pencil, then I did a homework in 30 seconds, and returned the pencil.
Me: Thanks.
Her: Okay.
Me: By the way, are you single?
At this point a few people nearby looked at us.
Her: What're you saying? (Bad sign.)
Me: I need to borrow your pen real quick.
