Women love those sorts of things when they're presented straight up. OG Mystery said it best, chicks love all the occult/supernatural stuff.
As men who enjoy women, there are plenty of resources out there in real psychology and pop psychology
Less "gimmicky" i.e. easier to work into a conversation
Cold Reads - that's when you basically say, "you look like the type of girl.."; "You know what they say about girls from/girls that do..."
Wrong or right about your cold read, you're gonna do few things,
1) Talk about her favorite subject - herself,
2) Put her on the defensive, as many girls are image conscious (self conscious) and your idea of who she is, has to match how she thinks about herself.
3) Grab the frame - by becoming the person she HAS to convince.
Odd reactions to things she says or does while having an innocent chat.
She offhandedly mentions her dog (or liking pizza, or watching Glee) - "You like dogs?..." "You eat pizza?"
With an honest/earnest tone, she will wax poetic about whatever thing you "discovered" about her.
Provocations (Nonverbal)
- Girl - "So I was making some pasta"
- Archie - *make eye contact* and then *give her a look that says "I don't believe you"*
- Girl - "What?"
- Archie - *exaggerate the look*
Again this builds tension because a lot of girls really care about saying the right things, presenting the right image.
I don't want to call it mining her insecurity, so we'll just call it, getting to the real girl, not the facade she puts up.
Women are endlessly fascinated...by themselves.
Many a conversation has been had where she only talks about herself, and thinks that I'm the funniest, most interesting person she's ever met - and doesn't know a thing about me.
