So recently got fired from my job in an outdoor mall due to my actions which have affected my reputation among the people of that mall most of whom live in the same city as me. Long story short I’m an idiot and some of the girls at my work found out I’m an 25 year old virgin(or at least they think based off the fact my social skills/game sucks). How do I know this? Because I’ve heard the gossip. Also think one of my female friends might have seen my search history but not sure lmao. Either way I’m mad paranoid now about approaching in my local area.

Gossip is definitely accurate. Didn’t get fired for being a virgin it was something else but the gossip contributed fs.

When you say adjust your behavior, do you mean improve your social skills? Honestly a big part of why I ended up leaving that job was because I got butthurt from the gossip and started clamming up even more which in turn pissed off my boss and the other girls that work at the job even more. Also had a girl approach me and try to get my number who was friends with one of the girls at the job but I was suspicious and didn't trust anyone so I brushed her off which pissed the girls off even more. All in all made a huge mess ngl.

In terms of improvements I think just putting my self in more and different social environments and forcing myself to strike up and lead conversations is what I need to do atm. Ngl it's only now that I'm realizing I spent a big part of my 20s NEET. (I did go out some and even went to a couple parties but didn't do nearly as much as my peers) Currently unemployed now though so finding a job is my first mission.

Lazy, doesn't talk, had one of the girls ask my body count while laughing, one of the dudes even asked if I was a virgin so people are obviously thinking it. Probably made it worse though by acting the way I did.

honestly, sounds to me like you're letting these people get to your head, and push you around. obviously you're doing things that give them ammunition, probably saying some uncalibrated shit and then they are like "dude you ever even been with a woman". and then you are reactive, and it's a viscous cycle.

People talking shit, you gotta keep your chill and brush them off.

you over here taking them personally, and causing a scene. Just draws more attention to what ever faux pass you committed. People start going "you know what, maybe all the gossip is true about Marley, that guys wack". And then people who may have been an advocate, turn on you.

Let your work speak for itself. You do a good job, and keep your chill, they can't say shit. And if they do it won't even matter. Even if you are a bit "odd" to them or something. They'll still come to respect you.


They all just decided you're the whipping boy and you pretty much put yourself in that position. So nobody to blame but yourself.

Don't beat your self up over it though. Just be aware and make steps to improve.

Being in diverse social situations actually sounds like a good way to get experience up for sure. Just be sure not to blow out every circle you crew up with.
