Hello all!,

What's the difference between bedroom eyes and sexy eyes? I remember a natural moment when it happened between me and a girl, but recreating it in an interaction unnaturally led to me being asked if I'm sleepy, which I replied with a no, adding that I was just lost in thought.

I think of bedroom eyes as being this dreamy look in your eyes, when you're lost in the moment, just letting it all hit you with this "I can't believe this is happening right now" feeling. When I think of sexy eye contact, I think of James Bond, Steve McQueen, Clint Eastwood, Tom Cruise, or Harrison Ford.

What's your description of each?

Appreciate any and all help :)

Hmm, good question.

I had a similar experience with something a bit different. When me and this girl were grinding (she's extremely sexy btw) I developed this low goal in my voice that I haven't been able to recreate since. My theory is that these sorts of things, bedroom eyes and growls and such come from frequency in which you're put in sexual situations. Not sure though, this is an interesting topic.

Jake,

I actually chuckled to myself after reading the line about a low growl but stopped and thought about a time when that I've done that, which just so happened to be everytime I was grinding with a girl I was interested in and she was "showing me what she can do". For me I just thought of how good that felt and then I just naturally went "mmmmm my God. I can't believe I didn't know I could have had sex with her that night" (We made out for like 2 hours in front of everyone and people told me it was like we were practically doing it on the dance floor.) Anyways, thanks for the reply.

Drexel,

Nice to see you on the boards. I forgot to add Gosling to the list. I think of him in Crazy Stupid Love when he firsts introduces himself to Emma Stone's character: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4xLmxgd-AYs. I did check out some of the earlier scenes from The Notebook and I found myself laughing cos I did that before Thanksgiving break started to one of the tutors in the Math department. I noticed that she was throwing a challenge at me and I just had this "I know what you're up to look, you're not fooling me look" as I gave my response and she went all submissive on me cos I caught her off guard (I'm assuming she didn't think I was as special as most of the people think of people, apologies in advance if I sound cocky). Anyways, thanks for the response and clarifying for me what bedroom eyes look like. Definitely will try my own version of this in the future: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xlK3FkdUv78 and could definitely see a girl blowing me off cos in her head she's thinking "Is this guy for real? This is something out of a movie!" Thinking back on times when I was being cheesy cos I like romance, I could have made something happen I just didn't know the "Green light" for letting me know that I am good to go, I was so stuck on freaking the girl out and being the nice guy. Thanks for the reply and hope to see you around the board a lot!

In The Notebook, the way Ryan Gosling looks at Rachel McAdam during their first few interactions is absolute sexy-eyes GOLD.
I wonder where the actors learn this in the first place. Acting school, or they just have it naturally?

I know Ryan Gosling is known for modeling his voice after the actor Marlon Brando. But the others, I'm not quite sure

Drexel is spot on with learning from movies. There are some great examples already on here, but I want to throw this one in too because its soooo obvious (they're practically begging you to imitate it) and easy to pick up. Its where I learned my bedroom eyes from. In fact, most of my eye/facial expressions are from Damon, his actor uses his eyes really well.

Yeah you guessed it. That eye thing? Bedroom eyes. There's also a subtle eye roll in there too, which I love throwing into conversations.

the right date makes getting her back home a piece of cake

Bedroom eyes certainly communicate something. I tried it out yesterday in addition to the sexy smile and I just.... wow... Had girls stopping and staring. A group of girls at a table just kept turning and looking over at me.

I know that I have a large proportion of my fundamentals down pat (Still working on my voice cos I've always had trouble with it from fear of being too loud), I just need to go up and talk to girls now. I've noticed how I've been complacent with just recieving attention from people and being treated "special" (which annoys me to a degree because I'm more interested in getting to know people rather than whats on the outside).

I'll certainly work on approaching today. Will make a post sometime later tonight or today.

Thanks again guys. One more piece of the puzzle has just been figured out.

PS, can anyone tell me how to upload and post photos on the forum?

WiseFool, you and XCRunner should give us training ;) Seriously, I realized I already more or less know how to do this; I just wasn't using it in a seduction context. I do it as a humorous effect when I'm being transparently sly and cagey as a joke. Need a bit of practice to adapt it for use with women :)

Nice! I practiced in front of a mirror a lot (sounds crazy, but it worked). For me it was keeping it sexy while not letting it drift into creepy.

Is it mainly the "droopy eyelids" thing while at the same time "peeking" at her from the corner of your eyes? Any "mechanical" explanation you can give will be appreciated!

You know what I realized the other day... girls do stuff with their eyes all the time that just drives men crazy. I don't mean in the bedroom or even on dates; I just mean in social conversations, everyday life, even in the street. I probably witness it a dozen times a day at least, in real life. When you add movies, advertising, the performing arts and goodness knows what else... it's everywhere.

So all we're doing here is trying to balance it out a little, playing catch-up ;)
