I just searched Brave for the life cycle length of frogs (don't ask!). I am always tempted to rely on these chatbot summaries, but they never let me down:

I was in a group meeting with a Microsoft representative that was promoting ChatGPT for enterprise usage around July.

She talked about a lot of things and promoted the capabilities of the tool.

She was however very clear on two things:

1) The algorithm is trained with a ridiculous amount of data. Not even huge organizations have enough data to schew the bias already built into the algorithm.

2) Microsoft is deeply committed to non-discrimination, equality, etc, etc…
In other words, the model is intentionally biased (not her words, of course).

When you talk about bias - in what way do you mean? I understand that there's some filters but we have never had a problem changing the bias. If you fine tune GPT based on your own data the answers will be based on the data you provide. Hence, you can schew the bias and make the model more suitable to your own needs.

I haven’t seen it.

ChatGPT seems to regurgitate PC-friendly answers no matter what you do.
You can trick it into giving you more objective answers for politically charged subjects but only works in isolated cases and it’s not consistent.

Proper work with prompting and fine tuning will give you the consistent results. We have generated more than 10.000.000 words this year which wouldn't be possible without the consistency.
