Hi gentlemen,
So at the beginning of winter term (around two and a half months ago) I started talking to a girl after class one day. As I was getting her number, I asked if she was single. She wasn't. I haven't talked to her since, but today I mixed up her name with someone else on my phone and texted her by accident. She seemed pretty chill, and she said "This is Riley from history! I haven't gotten a text from you before!

Would it be a good idea to start talking to her again and see if she is single again? I'm thinking it is one of those things that is "I will miss 100% of the chances I don't take." But any ideas on how to open up the conversation again and let her know I am romantically interested?
