Hello, I have a very basic question.
From my experience this past two months, it seems to me that compliance is a sign of girls feeling comfortable rather than being attracted to me. I have this cold but nice and kind vibe really. I cannot really shake it off (growing up as a nice guy oh well). But I have like 2 switches - my cold look and only hints of smiles, which I guess seems autoritative. And my warm, smiling a lot me like a dog. My success is like 50/50 so I still cannot pin point "the better me". But point being the examples below are all my dog persona. Anywqys, to the topic itself..
On the boards here and in some of the articles, compliance is generally understood as sign of the girl being attracted or at least interested. But it does not add up to me that much. I will try to break it up why I might get that idea and some one advanced might see the confussion I see now. Note: this is something I kinda think subconsciously, but past 2 months seems clearer and that is why I do think compliance is a sign of the girl being comfortable with me, rather than attracted.
In past 2 months I have had good interactions with 17 girls. 13 of them were cold approach, 4 of them were social event situations. All the interactions resultes in getting contact info or agreeing to see next time (that is why I categorize them as good interactions).
Couple of specific examples are following:
- I approached a girl we exchanged one or two sentences and then I said we should move over so that people do not run us over and put my arm on her arm to guide her and initiate the move (it was on a busy street, and moved like 5, 6 meters). To which she said Sure. She kept eye contact but she did not smile at me, she was not leaning into me, her pupils were not dialted. So here, I see it more as a sign of interest or openness and not really attraction.
- 2nd example. I approached by accidently bumping into her in a clothing store, said sorry and them wow in an amazed way, she replied with what? in a surprised way. So I complimented her, asked some questions, one or two banter lines. And somewhere she said she has a bruise after bumping into a fridge door yesterday. So I said she is officially a warrior and asked if she could show me the bruise. And without hesitation, she just looked around and then rolled up her sweater with t-shirt on the side up to her rib cage and showed me the bruise. Here, she smiled couple of times but it seemed like polite smiles really so I do not think she was attracted either.
- 3rd example - I was running to the office, we have stairs which lead up to elevators and in front of me a woman going up. She stumbled and basically fell into me. So I asked if she is ok, she then said she is sorry and I said I guess I am a real catch if girl throw themselves at me like that. So she laughed, I asked if she works here or going for an interview. She went to the same floor as me by the elevator. When we stepped out I told her if she could come here to the side for a moment (in the hall - basically all the office enterances are on the left and to the right there is just a wall about 3 meters away from the elevator door and some door without a sign). She stopped looked to the left, then looked at me and came to me to the side. And then I told her how I would like to see her again and asked her out. Thing is she did ot ask why to go the otherway with me, she just looked lft, then at me and simply came. She gave me her number so maybe there was some attraction. She seemed very warm in the beginning after she fell into me but the "happy energy" I felt from her faded out over the time till we moved up the elevator where she seemed more "business-y".
Any take on this?
