Was planning on meeting up with a girl for a date this Saturday when I get back in town. When I asked last week she said she was down, but didn’t have her work schedule yet.

Now she says she’s works till 9:30 Saturday (I believe this to be true, but could be wrong) so too late to go for dinner. She also didn’t offer any alternative options. I’m considering asking her to just hang out at my place when she’s off work, but feel like I might be sounding desperate.

What do you do in these situations? Immediately pivot to another ask, or do you give it some time? I do believe this girl is into me considering she typically texts me first and is very responsive.

well first, don't ask so long in advance to meet, and definitely don't invite her to your house that will trigger asd very low odds...

"dinner" trigger courtship you need to make the meets very low pressure, informal and casual.... A dinner date for a girl puts a lot of pressure and make it over think, plus you are just another "possible bf/provider" take a look at this http://www.theskillsmethod.com/how-to-properly-set-up-a-second-encounter/

now it is a bit too late when she answer "i have to work till 9:30" you say oh ok, no problem you want to do something after or maybe another day? feel her out in the text or answer for buying temperature, if ok to high, reschedule within 2 days max...

the right date makes getting her back home a piece of cake
