Did I Scare Her Off?

Hey guys, bit of background on this one:

Met this girl at a club, didn't say anything to her, just danced, but I got her number. We hung out a couple days later; first at a coffee shop to get to know each other, then I moved her to a bar where we got a bit flirty and established a good connection. I knew I should take her home and move fast, but I'm 20 and still living at home so I didn't know what to say off the top of my head. Instead, I just kind of hinted "lets get out of here" and she said I'm not ready for that. But we still carried on well and made plans to meet up again. Between then and the next meetup, she texted me and continued on in the vein of our previous flirtations, basically saying "I've been thinking long and hard and I do think I could take you under my wing and such and such". Turns out she lives at home too, and her parents are a bit weird, so she came to my place. We got comfortable on the basement couch and we kept on inching closer and closer , me talking slowly and a bit more deeper than I'm used to, until I kissed her. This kept on, interspersed with flirtatious comments and such until I pulled her to sit on top of me. Of course, right then my parents walked in the door upstairs, so we had to compose ourselves and get the mood going all over again. She told me she had to go soon, which without getting into details, I could see was legitimate. But I said soon wasn't now, and pulled her to my bedroom where we continued making out. Asked me if I sneak girls down here often, which I didn't say anything to since I'm a virgin! Each time she said she had to go I'd just pull her down on to me and she had no trouble complying. Eventually she did have to go though. Thing is, I'm leaving to study abroad in less than a week, which she knows, so I asked her when we could get together again. She gave me two days and told me to text her and see what's up.

I texted her today, the first day she said to try, using Chase's model of texting: "So-and-so, how's life been across the river? Hope you're feeling better. Got my bags packed and the immensity of it has me slightly discouraged. Hey, so how bout that movie we were supposed to watch? Let me know when you're free." Texted her a couple hours ago at noon, I think she's probably at work.

Maybe she thinks I know what I'm doing, but I really don't. Can you guys with any experience tell if this is going in the right direction? (Getting her in bed)

Hey Blusclues

I think you should've closed the deal when she was in your bedroom before she went out. She probably said she has to go since she was freaking out with your parents coming at home. You should've persisted on her staying and followed chased rule : "No girl can stay in my house more than 10 minutes without us becoming lovers". I'm not saying you have lost your chances but you've missed that opportunity. Your text is good and you just have to wait until she responses and try to set the date either at your home or hers or ask her out for a second date and make sure to close the deal this time :)

If she knows you're leaving in one week, it then depends on her if she wants to give you the goodbye present or not but let her know what you want. What do you have to lose anyway, You're leaving to study abroad!
