Do varsity jackets give off nice guy/provider type vibe, fuckboy vibe or some other type of vibe that is attractive to women?

So I continue to plan my outfit and ask people opinions on it every time I think I may have the final version of the outfit. Recently I came across Velasco on my journey and got useful information- cardigans can give off that sexy energy, but primarily they are nice guy/provider attire, so a it's a good idea to skip the cardigan. I don't think to wear long cardigans either as they gonna restrict my movement when I'm sitting down.

So I need to replace the cardigan with something and the first thing that came to my mind is the varsity jacket. But I need answers to the questions in the title before I consider if I'm gonna include it in my outfit or not.

Can't wait to see your answers :)

Also, what do you think of this varsity jacket and it's vibe? (For the record I'm not planning to buy this jacket as of now,I'm gonna search for another one, but I ask for opinions in case I change my mind :p )

@Dexter dude! Firstly I hate the attitude you had in the chat, that's not the way to behave when you want advice. You were negative to everything, everyone and weren't cooperating, annoying every one and then surprised no one helped you....

I don't know where you're from (I gather somewhere in Europe) and this can influence the vibe certain clothes give off. Varsity jackets can work, they don't scream provider in the UK they stand out as being different and can look cool. If it looks cool, looks good on you and you feel confident in it it'll look good. The same way @Velasco linked photos to dudes in cardigans that looked cool. Until I seen them I thought cardigans looked like shit. I still wouldn't wear one, not my style.

If worn correctly in the right place varsity jackets give off a fuck boy vibe. I seen in the chat some places view this as try hard. You'll know your location better than me dude.

I also noted you asked about a second layer. I can't find the thread it was in. I usually don't respond to fashion threads. There's dudes on here (that you've talked to) that are much better with fashion than me. Velascos necklace costs more than my entire outfit :')

A good second layer can be a shirt. t shirt, open shirt (plain, patterned, CHECKERED! whatever) with a jacket (leather, denim, varsity, standard) can look cool. T shirt and open shirt works on its own but hit it with a third layer if needed.

Do NOT wear anime, comics, dragons/fantastic beasts, etc...
This subcommunicates that you care more for your fantasy worlds than making anything great with your life.

There can be exceptions (a particularly well thought piece) but do you really want to pay 120 EUR to have women think you're an overgrown child?
Do you really want to be screaming to the world "Videogames are a priority in my life"?

Women pick on that.

Thank you for a relevant, useful reply. I gather I should ask the locals of the country I live in on the web about varsity jackets as opposed to people on seduction forum as I initially thought would be best.

I wasn't negative to everything, everyone or annoying anybody and I did get some help- read the chat log from the very first sentence that I wrote, that should become obvious to you that I wasn't and who was all those things that you accuse me of.

It's unclear to me how does wearing attire that shows your interest in anime, comics, dragons/fantastic beasts, etc... equals (means) that you care more for fantasy worlds than making anything great with your life? Also if you care more for your fantasy worlds first and making anything great with your life a close second, what's wrong with that?

I'm wondering does this jacket scream "Videogames are a priority in my life"? https://merch.riotgames.com/en_US/product/k-da-bomber-jacket
I actually really like this jacket and thought of getting it.

Also, what is wrong with videogames being a priority in someones' life? It doesn't mean that you don't care about making something great with your life, nor you can't take care of yourself and/or others.

And I don't see how videogames being a priority in somebodys' life means that they aren't an adult. What you prioritize in life doesn't make you an adult or a child, it's your character and mentality.

@Dexter because people make subconsciuos judgements of other people the second they see them.
You can fight this all you want but the fact is that this is an unavoidable reality.

A videogame jacket doesn't mean you are not ambitious but that is what you decide to communicate visually.

It's like walking on the streets with a sign that says that "comfort", "fantasy" and "other people's adventures" are important to you.
Do you think people are going to assume that you are there to conquer the world?
Will they assume you are inluential or influentiable? Obviusly the second one.

This is not an issue of what "it means", it is an issue of what "you communicate".
And I am telling you, you are not communicating that you are attractive and in demand with an anime girl in your back.

No one asked that. I continue to read further.

Could you explain to me if videogame jacket doesn't mean you are not ambitious, why is it communicating that I'm unambitious?

It's like walking on the streets with a sign that says that "comfort", "fantasy" and "other people's adventures" are important to you.
What's wrong with liking things that I like?

Do you think people are going to assume that you are there to conquer the world?
So if I in my casual attire wear Lord of the rings shirt it must mean that I'm not a CEO or that I will never become or even want to be that?

Will they assume you are inluential or influentiable? Obviusly the second one
I don't think they will assume shit if I wear Lord of the rings shirt, other than I like Lord of the rings and maybe am a nerd.

And I am telling you, you are not communicating that you are attractive and in demand with an anime girl in your back.
Here I absolutely agree with you, somehow It never crossed my mind when I was wondering about that specific varsity jacket I linked, it's off my list now 100 %

@Dexter dude, you had a go at my bro DarkKnight saying he's not serious and his names a joke, you had DML tell you it would be easier to get advice if you weren't so negative and scaring everyone off. You had DML give up on you publically in the chat "I'm done, good luck to that kid" to which you retorted he wasn't much help anyway. Very grateful of you, not negative at all. I don't know why we're not all lining up to give you advice....

I'm not discussing this further, the audacity of you to even try and justify this and argue with what I said about your conduct here is absurd. The fact I've wasted more time having to explain this to you...

I haven't tagged the dudes in this post because I don't want this blowing up further than it has and going further of topic. This isn't gang up on dexter, it's me telling you that you're being argumentative about everything and this won't help you.

As for talking to locals for advice, make sure you ask the right people who understand what you're asking for. Opinions vary

They will.

I am really not here to start a long discussion and reply to every single sentence you write because you're looking to win an argument or convince me that you are right.
People judge people over menial things. If you are struggling to accept that concept, that's on you.

Here's the advice: "Do NOT wear anime, comics, dragons/fantastic beasts, etc..."

Take it or leave it.

I said that he presumably is supposed to be serious because he is DarKnight ( Batman). I said I had enough jokes from him, because having this name and being the opposite of serious is funny to me, therefore a joke. And DarKnight having a go at me and wasting my time and annoying me is ok, but then I call him out on his bullshit, that's not ok. Looks like double standards to me, geez I wonder why?

I'm negative to people who are negative to me. Wow, so rude and unreasonable, right?

You had DML give up on you publically in the chat "I'm done, good luck to that kid" to which you retorted he wasn't much help anyway. Very grateful of you, not negative at all.
good luck to that kid- I should be grateful to him for insulting me and not being much help anyway? Right...

the audacity of you to even try and justify this and argue with what I said about your conduct here is absurd.
You're angry at me because I didn't agree with you on something you were completely wrong on? You're so full of yourself, it's sad.

This isn't gang up on dexter
Do you think people on this forum are so stupid they ain't gonna see this for what this is just because you denied it?

me telling you that you're being argumentative about everything and this won't help you.

I'm not being argumentative, I'm pointing out things that people, like yourself, accuse me of something I'm not guilty off or judge me because I don't understand something they think they do, then they clearly don't.

As for talking to locals for advice, make sure you ask the right people who understand what you're asking for. Opinions vary
I did, and realized the varsity jacket is a bad option :)

I'm not. 3 out of my 5 points from the last reply to you are genuine questions, because I want to understand there you're coming from so I can if your reasoning is flawed or not, not to argue or try to convince you or something.

Will they assume you are inluential or influentiable? Obviusly the second one
I don't think they will assume shit if I wear Lord of the rings shirt, other than I like Lord of the rings and maybe am a nerd.
I was letting you know I don't see the connection between people assuming that you're influentiable with wearing a fantasy t-shirt in my casual outfit. And I'm pretty sure every person is influentiable to some extent. You can't completely be unaffected by your surroundings.

you're looking to win an argument or convince me that you are right.
Stop self projecting. If you perceive this questions this way, it has everything to do with you and nobody else.

People judge people over menial things. If you are struggling to accept that concept, that's on you.
menial
adjective

  1. (of work) not requiring much skill and lacking prestige.
Why do all fantasy clothes lack prestige (except ones with anime girls) and what prestige do regular clothes have? I'm not sure what you mean by prestige here.

Here's the advice: "Do NOT wear anime, comics, dragons/fantastic beasts, etc..."

Take it or leave it.
Well you fail to explain your thought process behind this, get defensive for no reason and heavily self project, so I rather leave it unless you can explain your reasoning and I see no flaw in it.
