Drinking on dates

Majority of women really don’t care and if they do care then that would be concerning - if the venue is nice and the conversation is good then there’s no issues

I usually take them to fancy cafes which usually serve some beautiful looking cakes

they also serve beautiful looking non alcoholic drinks and the unique cakes / interior will most likely hook the woman’s interest ( seeing as op is London based)

Knightsbridge etc isn't really my spot, but I'll take your advice on the late night cafes. That is what I'm going to try.

FWIW I had a really good date the other night, went to a bar. I just told her I wasn't drinking because of a sporting thing the next day, acted like it wasn't a big deal. Date carried on as normal and neither of us mentioned it again. Was all good. Shows most of this was just in my head.

It's a bit of a slippery slope, because evening is the best time to meet a girl, and there's not much to do in the evening other than go to a bar, so it ends up being the default date activity. The last couple of months I was also dating a lot, therefore drinking a lot, and I definitely noticed it draining my productivity in other areas (not to mention the cost of it adds up).

One thing I started doing was mentioning to girls that I have a low tolerance to alcohol and I get drunk easily (a white lie), then I'll nurse the single drink for the time we're at that bar. I'll also order a glass of water so that I'm not just drinking straight. This definitely helps.

Still, we often end up drinking again when we get back to mine. It's just so easy to say "let's grab a bottle of (whatever) and listen to music at mine". I really want to cut this out, so I'm going to challenge myself to pull without mentioning alcohol - ice cream, kombucha, milk tea seem like good options.

Many decent excuses you could make

“I’m nursing a sports injury so I’m on antibiotics and I can’t drink tonight”

“ got a business call tomorrow morning with a client from Japan sorry I can’t be hungover”

in terms of gaming in China most major cities are packed with high end hotels and said hotels usually serve tea and juice throughout the night - in 2019 when I did daygame there nearly all my dates were tea or coffee with the exception of one being at an arcade and the other being hotpot with the meituan app downloaded on your WeChat you should be able to find a range of good dating options pretty easily

Knightsbridge has the highest quality of women in London imo so definitely worth getting a feel for for daygame - between 2018-2020 I was there at nearly 3 times a week sometimes - the quality was immense .

There’s also the bvlgari hotel in Knightsbridge which has a really nice cafe in it - does really beautiful pasteires and coffee - and has a Italian restaurant which serves nice non alcoholic cocktails just adjacent to it - I’ve been there several times and if you’re not drinking it’s a pretty decent price

Knightsbridge now has around 7-10 cafe spots within a 1 mile radius and they all shut really late relative to other areas of London so if you want late night alcohol free dates it’s a great option sometimes just exploring London a bit and taking girls somewhere outside your comfort zone can give you more ideas on how to innovate future date plans which can be useful if you’re stacking rotation of women together and you don’t want to get bored or deal with the hangovers from alcohol

I understand everyone has different tolerance but mine was particularly low and by my mid 20s I wanted to quit as the side effects weren’t giving be much joy and it wasn’t adding any value to my game so to speak if anything It was really extracting from it

A big part of dating is volume- if I was drinking every date there’s no way I’d have the motivation to continue approaching in between dates and thus my options would most likely shrink

any girl who agrees to meet you already fancies and is sexually attracted to you anyway , for me it was really important transitioning out of uni to learn how to approach and date sober as prior to aged 22 everytime I was with a girl I was completely smashed out my face ( I was doing night game only as my only source to get women ) and it was immensely draining and led me to make mistakes that were costing me lays and women rather than sealing the deal
