So yesterday evening and today i feel like my streetgame cold approaching journey started for good. Yesterday there was almost no girls out in time, too late for the shops to be open and too early for people to go out to clubs/bars/etc. This afternoon though, i went to town. I think i was there for lil over 2 hours. I just walked around town at first, shopping a wee bit and seeing if i couldn't stumble upon some girls. I walked all over town and switched my route a bit to not look like a weirdo going up and down the same street all the time.
I managed to get my balls up towards the very end. I warmed up by asking a few people for directions and talking to people in shops. The last 15 minutes i went into a shop and when i got my receipt i looked at it skeptically and went back to the register and said "Something's wrong with my receipt" and smiled. The girl took it and said, "What's wrong with it?" I took a pen out and clicked it and said "You forgot to add your number
" Which she responded to by saying she has a boyfriend and i just said alright and we wished eachother a good day. This warmed me up to i saw two girls on a bench. First i just glimpsed one which were pretty good looking and then kept walking and i went "Fuck it bro you're gonna talk to her", so i walked a few hundred meters up the street, turned around and decided to go for it. (Used the first, direct method from this article) I walked past them and glimpsed to the side just as i passed them and then stopped and turned around and smiled. Went like this:
-I stop, smirk and look at her out the side of my eye
-Turn around and say "Hey"
-She looks surprised and say "Hey"
-I say "I think you look really cute and i had to say hi"
-She looks at me a bit awkwardly
-Reach my hand out to her "Name's Peter"
-She grabs my hand and says "My name's XXX"
-"Can i have a seat?"
-"Sure...."
-They both turn a bit away from me and look to the left (i was sitting on their right)
-We talked about a minute or so, i asked what they were doing in town and if they were out shopping and they asked me the same thing back. Then XXX asked how old i was
-"I'm 19, and you?"
-"13"
-We laugh and i said "Well okay, have a nice evening" and i got up and left
Girls these fucking days, you can't tell if they are 13 or 17 sometimes. Anyways, i just went home afterwards.
My observations
So my observations are (atleast where i live in Northern Europe in a city of 150-200k inhabitants"
-Barely any girls walking around town alone. They all have ATLEAST one friend with them. As a beginner i find this a bit overwhelming, it wasn't how i had hoped i would start out, by going up to multiple girls on their way through town.
-Not so many young girls as i had hoped
-People give less of a shit when i approach than i had feared
-Being 19 it's a bit intimidating going up to girls who are in their mid 20s, though it would be hot as fuck to pull one to bed
-I have more approach anxiety than i had hoped
My questions
-Is there any other hot tips you can come up with to overcome approach anxiety other than warming up, getting a good mindset and just getting out there? I followed Chase's advice of making approaching part of your routine, which is why from now on when i go to town, it's because i need something, and i just take huge detours to scoop up as much street as possible
-As a beginner should i just accept the fact that girls in town/out shopping are usually with 1, 2, 3 or more friends? It's pretty rough ngl.
Cheers
Peter
