FR First successful store pickup! Well, sorta

I spotted a girl as I was trying to get to the CD rack at Savers, and began to chat it up with her. I began by telling her a story of how I bought a CCR CD from the place at one point only to come home and discover there was nothing in the case. I asked her if she wanted to buy something adventurous sounding, and if she'd ever gone exploring before. Then the conversation kicked off.. I asked for the number in the middle of it, and got it! We continued talking until she had to leave, and I invited her to come exploring with me at some point.
The sorta part of this is that she hasn't answered my text yet, so I'm not sure what the outcome will be. But, regardless, I've just broken a key plateau and I'm on to find new ones to break!

If you've sent an icebreaker text, then it doesn't matter if she answered you or not. Just remember to remind her of the 'exploring adventure' you guys have soon to do. Maybe text tomorrow since you said it got off so well. Anyways, nice job with climbing past the plateau.

Does that mean I should wait at least a day after my icebreaker text before texting a girl for real?

My current situation is that before she had to go, I was introducing her to Chase's "Three Favorite Animals Game", but we never got to finish it.
I remembered some time after my ice breaker text, and ended up trying to continue that thread after I broke the ice and she hadn't yet texted back.
She still hasn't, but oh well, now I know I've got it in me to go find her replacement.
