Well yesterday I decided to borrow my Fraternity Brother's fake and head down town to hit the bars. Here is what happened.
1. I get down town at around 10:30 and the first Bar I enter is Tom and Marty's. The layout is the bar stretches far on the left as you enter and the space to the right of the bar and in the back past the bar. Pretty quiet now but when it gets packed it gets pretty hot and they start blasting music. I sit up at the bar and order a Heineken for 4:50(Fucking ripoff) and sip on that for a bit. I talk to some guy to my left, learn that he goes to the community college nearby and his major is physical education and he chose it because it is "easy". I notice three girls sitting at a table but I am afraid to approach. I don't know what to talk about with them, what do I have to gain and although I read the articles on anxiety and what not I am unable to approach. Some women pull up next to me, I ask the one closest to me what brings her to T&M's on a tuesday night. Says something and I ask if she goes to my school blah blah, the main thing from this is that I can pass off as an upperclassmen.
2. I then head over to The Rat. The layout is after getting downstairs there is a bar to the left, with a good deal of space in the middle, then a dancefloor on a higher ground in the back right with a couches not on the dancefloor but basically right next to it in the darkness. Relatively calm right then but when it gets packed the music starts blasting and it gets a little hotter. Though there is a lot of space between the bar and the dancefloor so I guess it is better than T&M. This is also like the hook up bar down town, or so it has been called.
Since I am alone I just kind of hang out here and there making sure not to stare girls down and act like a creeper. On Tuesday's the Rat has beer pong tournaments so that is taking up most of the space opposite of the bar. Eventually I spot Nads(fraternity brother) and his 3 friends by the bar and start chilling with them. WE talk, Nads likes to drink heavily at odd times during the week, tuesday being one of them and keeps calling me a bitch for not finishing my Heineken(I brought it from T&M because I am a cheap bastard). His 3 friends are one guy and two girls, I make some talk with them ask them questions but for the most part I stay out of the convo's. I also make some small talk with some other girls next to our group but they are a pair and are more preoccupied with one another.
2.a. Eventually Nads disappears and so does his friend so I am alone once more. However where we were sitting at the bar are now 2 girls, one of them talking to some guy. I position myself to the right of the unoccupied girl, determine that she is cute and finally grow a pair and use the line " So what brings you to the rat on a tuesday night?" She laughs and we get along rather well, she is very animated during the convo, her name is Alyssa. I learn a lot of things, her 21st birthday, chemistry major, I make some jokes like for example she is the Vice President of a sorority. I say it is an honor to be talking to someone of such high stature and she laughs. Overall quite well now to the # grab. I ask for it in the middle or semi end of our convo, I ask she accepts and starts putting it in but I am blank on what to say. I had not set up a new thing to jump into beforehand but luckily her drunk friend no longer preoccupied with that guy starts yapping about her problems which include her crappy boyfriend, her cheating on him and a whole lot of other shit. Alyssa keeps telling me not to take it seriously however the drunk friend then tells me to buy Alyssa birthday shots. Being the frugal man that I am I say that I can't afford it, being a poor college student and all. She fights back, I say she should buy her one and tells me she already has, I say I will later but I have lost this battle. We talk a tad more and the drunk friend takes her to the dance floor.
2.b. I then move over to the other part of the bar where these two girls are just having a grand time. I open " you two are just having too much fun", they laugh and we talk a bit. I will keep this one short but talked and it was fun however I was being too much of an entertainer, I believe my sexy vibe is somewhat nonexistant right now as I try not to be bland since I have a monotone voice and have generally been described as such. I ask for the attractive one's number and peel off.
3. I then check out JT's a bar across from T&M. It is a dance club through and through, all dancefloor with a bar on the right. Dark and very loud, many impregnable forcefields of girls dancing in circles. I try and chill by the bar, try and open one girl who blows me off and I leave and head back to T&M to check it out.
T&M is packed now and it kind of sucks. Hot and sweaty and loud I have to force my way through the crowd. As I am chilling on the side I notice a cute girl in front of me talking to her friend. Skinny and short girl with short black hair and a cute face, my kind of girl. Her friend leaves and she seems disoriented, I could of said something.. I wanted to but I hesitate and then she is gone and no other opportunity shows itself like that one. I could of said hi, but it would of been haphazard and half assed, I will probably see her again if I keep going out. I then take the bus back to campus.
An hour and a half after getting the 2 #'s I send this text- Hi girls name, nice meeting you tonight

One thing to note I lied about my standing to Alyssa, said I was a Sophmore.. will have to rectify that later...
