Bro be happy she is asking for about Prep!

Prep is HIV medicine!

It is a preventive medecine that people who do NOT have HIV take in order to not contract it.

Basically, her asking you if you take Prep signifies she very likely has HIV and wants her guy to be on Prep so that she cannot pass it on. At least she is taking the right precautions.

If you want to have sex with her, go to your doctor, tell a him/her that a girl told you to take Prep (he will understand that she is very likely HIV positive). They will give you prep. Make sure you follow their instruction WORD BY WORD - no fucking around.

If you do as they say you can fuck an HIV positive without any fear.

However I would still advice condom usage.

Best,

I you have had any sexual relations with this girl, I would recommend recommend the full STD test package, including HIV Elisa (ab/ag) test, as well as HIV RNA, and HEP B and C antibodies/ RNA tests.

Well, if she is frighten, she is the one to take prep, not you.

Her asking YOU to take Prep means she wants YOU to PROTECT YOURSELF against HIV. You are not protecting her by using Prep.

In other words, based on what she says, she is not indicating that YOU may have HIV but that SHE DOES.

Could you provide additional information?

Ok your call.

But I actually recommend you to take Prep....

I think you should talk to a doctor before "playing" with her. For your own good!

HIV is no joke.

And make sure you use a condom! VERY IMPORTANT HERE.

Yes do what you want, play with her and fuck her, but before you do this, go to a doctor, test yourself and tell your doctor everything (her asking for you to take Prep... and all that). Your doctor will know what to do.

No doctor, no play.

Trust me, this may save your health.

@Teevster do not worry , if it is indeed true what he is saying , nothing will happen without prep . Not because the girl cares about him , but more because she will go to jail if he gets infected :)

If you ask me , this sounds like bullshit subject , and he just wants attention

This is not always true.

In many countries, you are not a criminal if you are HIV positive and have sex with people (and passes it). In many cases you are only criminalized if you pass it on without making a deliberate effort tavoid transmission (and in general that involves taking your meds for at least 1-2 month until your viral load is almost at 0).

Basically, you can be HIV positive, and not use prep, without being criminalized, that is if you are on antiretroviral therapy.

Not sure however if telling others to take Prep is enough to prove a jury that "you deliberately tried to hinder transmition". I am not sure here. I do know that in most of Europe, regular testing (testing viral load) and anti-retroviral therapy and being green lighted by a doc is enough to not receive criminal charges.

Basically in most of the countries you go to jail if you keep the secret of being HIV positive and that person gets infected :)

The only way to demonstrate in front of the jury that you let the other person know is via Prep ( because you need a doctor prescription in order to get the medicine , and the doctor will write somewhere the reason for why he is prescribing it - so more or less is an official document that will hold in court )

I suggest OP and everybody else to read:

This article on Prep - what it is - explained in the most simple ways as possible.

Otherwise get information on HIV on this website

Or...

One any other official healthcare websites (preferably those from your national health authority such as the CDC or gobal health organizations such as the WHO)

I also recommend everybody to talk to a health care professional if any of these informations are unclear, or if you have further questions regarding HIV or or other STI's.

Your local STI clinic is a great way to start.

i have one friend how knows this thing very well

and he told me that i can drink it like protecting myself

Yes if you take Prep, you can protect yourself.

But you need to know how to "drink it" right. This is why you need to see a doctor (or a nurse). If you do not take it correctly, it does not work - it does not protect.

Again, see a doctor.

@theodous just for your information , even with Prep , there it is still a small chance of getting HIV .

If i were you , I would not do it as it is not worth the risk:)

In many countries yes, but not in most western European countries. This is mostly due to a political project to "de-stigmatize" HIV. HIV positive need to check the local legislation nevertheless.

That is, if you have to let the other people know (i.e. the law requires you to disclose your status). In which case, I agree, this is a smart way to prove that you let the other person know.

Did not think of it - legally speaking it make sense!

Correct, this is why it is important that he uses condoms too.

But it is the doctor's job to inform him of this before giving him prep.
