Ok got this date tomorrow, but now the girl is trying to change the venue of the date as she wants to go "somewhere quiet" and that she's "not a big drinker" so wants to go somewhere where she can drink a pot of tea. ive got to look at this as a shit test so what do I do? i cant say no we're going to the place of my choice as i'll come across as an asshole, but if i submit too easily im worried i'll come across as too weak. im thinking of either saying 1. that we can start off at the original venue then move on towards the place of her choice. or 2. That they do tea at the original place and that it's quite quiet on monday nights so it'll be no problem. what do you guys think?

Hey Killerman,

Due to having very little time, quick reply:

Option 1 - sounds good, but it seems to be a good idea to have in your mind a reason to justify why you insist on the already chosen location.

Option 2 - sounds even better, can't see bad sides.

Option 3 (what I would try to do) - ask her to come to your place. If she wants tea, then google some good uncommon recipes and try them out, so you can choose which is good and which tastes shitty. This way you get good logistics, no difficulties in moving her and some additional points (tea is plain, simple tea, after all - if you know how to prepare it in the uncommon way, then it's a different pair of boots as it's unusual, therefore: interesting). Also, in case she asks you what you're gonna prepare for her, you can always say that there's only one way to find out - coming to your place. I guess it can add to a little cent to your mysterious value.
