Alright guys, wanted your two-cents on this.
A good female friend of mine's mother owns her own ice cream/burger shop. They hire extremely young women as workers (mid-to-late teens). I was in the area the other day and so I stopped in and this girl who looked 16 (more on that...) kept looking at me.
Now, on the one hand this is incredibly flattering because she was beautiful. I know I had the advantage because I'm an "older guy" but still- flattering to get looks from a woman in the prime of her life. On the other, it dawned on me I am not on the extremely young spectrum of things anymore so I actually have age to consider.
I'm 23 and it turns out she's 18, so we're gold with that (friend's ma told me after I went in the back and asked lol). Thing is, I went back out and she was busy with an order. So I slipped away to get a hair cur and left for the day. I'm going to visit again soon (huge advantage because I know the people who own the place and am close friends with their daughter who also used to work there all the time).
Not only that, apparently all 3 of the late teens workers (17/18), all extremely attractive girls I wouldn't have dreamt of getting in high school, were all asking who that guy was (lil old me). So now I get to choose which of these lasses of the three gets my number. Good problem to have.
Well I'm most attracted to the girl who kept looking at me anyway, plus she has this real bashful thing going on (probably because she's so young and inexperienced?). She really fit my type more than the others, and the other blonde one was a real catch too.
On top of all this, my friend's mom and friend were saying how they'd put in a good word for me. So their own boss is going to talk me up.
As you probably figured, I'm pretty confident with this one (as confident as it gets really because the girl literally kept looking at me multiple times) but I'm going to run it by you folks anyway.
So, I actually said a few words to her before I left the first time (I had to go back in to get directions to the hair cut place lol). She smiled and had that young "I can't believe this guy is talking to me" girlish sort of reaction. Great! Time to make her day!
I was going to go back in and cut right to the chase. Order something, maybe throw out a quick small talk question (how long you been working here?), ask her name, then go into the routine. "Well ____, I think you're pretty cute. How about we get lunch next weekend? Now I know you're busy working so here's what I'm gonna do. I'm gonna write my name and number on this receipt and you can text me when you get home or later tonight and we can figure it out from there. Don't work too hard."
I can also coordinate with the owner/my friend and have the other girls go in the back when I do this, or talk to her when she's on the side of the counter or whatever (it's a decent-sized counter and it gets semi-loud in there).

P.S. This article (https://www.girlschase.com/content/want- ... ke-it-easy) has a neat trick I never thought of before- when a girl looks at your first, you tease her a bit about it (You might as well talk to me if you're gonna look at me all day), but this girl seems too shy for that. Plus she'll be around co-workers etc. All of these are minor points though, of course.
