This most likely has a very basic explanation but I cannot figure it out. I met couple of girls where when I pointed out something or just mentioned something about them -
example: "you look like you did not get much sleep last night" (which in hindsight I might have implied that she looks bad or it came of insulting to her, but I am pretty sure my voice tone was just observatory tone with no negative connotation). And she just shrugged her shoukders. Or we were talking, I mentioned I liked when girls wear skirts, she mentioned she does not wear skirts. A week later she comes (this was a social situation, she knew I would be there) wearing a black skirt. So when nobody was around I said something like "and she said she does not wear skirts" with a smile. She looked my way, not on me per se but just shrugged her shoulders as if saying "so what?"
And yesterday I have seen this with like 4th girl and I cannot figure out what it means, how my comments are affecting her.
