I'm gonna say I might've dropped the ball on this one. Based on her reply and going over the op again it seems like maybe she wanted him to be her lover while she had fun with her situationship with the other dude. Main clue being how she says 'you're awful' and kisses him. If so sending a text that skyrockets attainability is going to hurt your chances.

That's why I avoid giving specific advice, as it's hard to get a solid read on a situation from a few sentences written from someone else's perspective. Her vibe and body language would give me all the info I needed but I should have known in this case that I was operating on too thin context.

Dude whatever happened it's basically over for the time being, you won't be turning it around except if she starts chasing you, and there is no way that will happen while you are desperate for her.

I shit you not when I say I meet 10-20 new girls daily. Many of them I could easily take home and I have done so in the past. But none of them have come close to this girl. At some point in time you start to wonder if you actually passed on the best girl that would walk into your life for the next few years. I'm saying this from a place of abundance, at some point in time you actually meet someone of quality that makes you doubt your ways.

No your not, it is impossible that this girl is that perfect, that other girls suddenly are all nothing. They are even not getting a fair chance BECAUSE you are stuck with the old girl.

Sometimes I talk to new girls out of boredom.. and then when I talk to them I feel their femininity and am totally surprised that this unassuming person is actually quite striking. But when I am stuck with an old girl I will barely perceive this.

Your mental investment in the old girl is so great even user username is "justfriends". It is not worth it after a certain point.

The world is big man.. and sometimes when we are stuck somewhere or stuck with someone we forget this until we dislodge ourselves and change environments new (quality) women show us attention and it all makes sense again
