So today at class I noticed this girl wandering around my vacinity. We had a 5 minute break before returning to class. I assumed this was an approach invitation but she was walking the other way. When she came back I approached indirectly asking what time we had to go back to class. After class I caught up with her and talked to her a bit, found out where she was from, her name etc. However when I # pulled and tried getting her # she hit me with the " here you give me your #." I persisted a few more times but she wouldn't give it to me so I ended up giving her my #. After looking for advice on Google I read that it normally means she politely rejected me by doing this. Can you guys give me some input on your experience with this and if the girl ever actually contacted you.

When she asks for your number instead of giving you hers it's 99% of the time a polite rejection. You should ask for the number on a high note during the conversation. From what you wrote I'm getting the feeling that it was a very quick interaction.

And read this article How to Get a Phone Number from a Girl Every Time You Ask

Yea it was. I was short on time becaue we were walking through the parking lot towards her car. I noticed we only talked for maybe 3 minutes and I just asked to try closing
