Hickies as pre-selection?

Hey guys,

So yesterday after being swept in the moment with one of the girls I'm seeing, I have hickies all over my neck. After realizing this, I covered it up with a scarf cause I was seeing another girl today.

But as we got together and started talking, out of nowhere she started asking why I was wearing a scarf when it's so hot out and peeked in while I was looking at food menu and i guess she noticed a hint of hickie.
(they're huge and my skin is sensitive)
(girls are really sharp at spotting/suspecting other women)

Anyways, she started rambling "omg! i can't believe you have hickies all over your neck. Gross!"
"Who's this girl?"
"Ew why did she give you all these hickies?"

Long story short, her words were complaining, but I could tell she was more into me?

Does hickies represent a proof of pre-selection or something?
I wish she never spotted it as I like being discreet and keep my business down low, but now it's out.

Hickies can indeed turn women on. They are battle scars from an experienced man!

It does depend on the girl though, and it depends how far along you are with her. If it's a girl you haven't slept with yet, hickies can definitely intrigue them and make them more curious about you (and why other girls apparently like you so much that they are willing to give you hickies!) However, girls that you are already seeing that might be looking for a relationship might find it very off-putting, and your attainability as a boyfriend might take a hit.

What's ironic about hickies is that women usually give them on men to "mark" their territory -- just like a dog pees on a fire hydrant! Little do they know that hickies can also work as an aphrodisiac to other women (much like dogs enjoying "re-marking" a territory that has been marked by another dog, lol).

Thank you for your insights! The difference between a girl I haven't slept with versus a girl I've slept with makes sense, as each woman has a different objective in mind depending on our scenario. It all makes sense now.

Yeah, in a class setting, I'll notice a girl here and there slyly looking at my neck and keep looking back at it. I guess it works as a pre-selection or something. Thanks!

Depends on what the girl is looking for. If she's just trynna fuck (or is at least open to it), hickies will definitely serve as preselection. But if she was hoping to become your girlfriend, attainability will fall and she will basically label you as "fuckboi" or "just another one of those guys" and kick you to the curb real quick.
