I have some thoughts on this topic. And I agree with a lot that has been said here.

Social Dance Comments

I've actually pulled quite a bit from latin dance socials. Most of this was in a decently touristic city that had a lot of people on vacation come to the dance classes and events of the group. So there were constantly new people coming through and joining. From what I've heard most scenes aren't like this. I'm also not a great salsa/bachata dancer either - didn't seem to matter much for me.

From what I've seen it seems like urban dance scenes generally have a lot more attractive (and younger) women that partner dance. If you really want to meet girls through dancing.

Hobbies for Game

Most "hobby"-type events/groups/gatherings aren't great for meeting women as some people here have already expressed. It really depends on your goals though. I think stuff like yoga, pilates, maybe soulcycle, seem like they could be really good for meeting attractive women, but I haven't gone that route. I've also heard of guys killing it with lesser-known female dominated hobbies like horseback riding or roller derby in the right cities.

Really, if you want more success you should be doing either
- Cold approach
- Online game
- Social circle (which can involve interests like hobbies, but is not simply going to regular hobby gatherings and trying to hit on girls there)

And not worrying about taking up a hobby just for girls. But something that allows you to meet a lot of new attractive women can still be cool. This is not most hobbies though.

I think another interesting question is "What are hobbies that are complementary to game in the sense of building game-adjacent skills?"

For example:
- Gym (obvious)
- Fashion (obvious)
- Acting (for control over nonverbal subtleties and mastering facial expressions, voice, movement, etc)
- Public Speaking (similar control over voice)
- iImprov comedy (being stimulating, fun, loosening people up, thinking on your feet)
- Dance (not to meet girls necessarily, but to be able to have that tool in your belt for nightgame. I wish I had just sucked it up and spent a little bit of time for couple months learning to dance from youtube when I was 18 or 20, rather than a decade later. So many parties and nights out where I could have had that tool. Learning basic grooving and party dancing is not that hard.)
- Content creation. Photography/videography. (For marketing yourself on social media to girls)
- Foreign Languages (for the passport bros out there)
- Bartending (for parties)
etc.

Joking!

AD&D is about as efficient for dating as playing chess.

Just get some newb gamer girls in your D&D group, then seduce them over time indirectly through your characters!

DM: "Gebnar the Dwarf rolls a 6. His seduction attempt on Faeladrigal the Elven Princess is semi-successful. She agrees to heavy petting with her bustier removed."
Gamer girl: "Wow, this is getting kind of hot, isn't it?"
You: "You know the rule is we have to act out what our characters do, right? It's part of the role-playing experience."
Gamer girl: "Is that the rule?"
DM: "It's definitely the rule."
Gamer girl: "I guess I have no choice..."

(for all the autists... I am only kidding... just FYI...)
