Hey NJ,
I didn't realize that this was your first date back at your place. If that's the case, then spending a little extra time moving things forward is fine. This girl was looking for exactly what you gave her, and it seems like she was pleased with the results and is looking forward to more from you!
I usually pour drinks for both of us, hand one to her, and then sit down while simultaneously putting my arm around her and keeping her close. After this though, I don't do any other type of physical action until I'm ready to go in for the "passionate kiss" (which is explained above in the comment I linked you). Immediately putting your arm around her helps extinguish any possibility of early awkwardness, and then not touching her much afterward leaves her in a suspenseful and excited state, since she doesn't know what's going to happen next. It's a good combination that has worked extremely well for me, but like you said, make sure you find what works best for you.
This would make a fun LR for other members on the Field Reports board as Tyme mentioned. Feel free to write one up if you find the time. =)
Cheers,
Franco
Probably about 60-90 minutes. But, there was no date beforehand. She just came over to hang out. So, this entirety of the interaction at my place was two people sitting and getting to know one another over a couple drinks.

I think anything more than light touch (maybe touching knees as you sit and talk, lightly touching her arm, leg, etc) before the kiss has not worked so well for me, for some reason. You don't want to give her too much, because then she probably starts to think you're afraid to kiss her. If you're stroking her hair or holding her close and not kissing her, I'm not sure that's the way to go.
