Yeah brother! How's that feeling? Care to share any insights in the process? Trials, and tribulations? Major transformations?
I feel better compared to when I was smoking.
Tbh , I was in a really bad headspace cuz of not being able to daygame , a chick i number closed playing games with me over texts , feelings regarding my career etc.
And due to this , whenever I would feel stressed , I would just smoke .... Generally 3×3 per day .
But , slowly i reduced it to 3×2 .... Then in a few weeks it became 1 per day .
Anyways , i simply decided to binge internet at home to distract myself from smoking . It's worse than smoking , ngl .
But it worked .
I think that your mental state during the time of quitting will determine your mental withdrawals .
So , if you are someone struggling with anxiety, panic attacks , rumination , depression ... then it might be worse initially, during the time of quitting.
So , it's best to get busy .
In my personal experience , some of mental issues can be solved by just being busy and doing something that feels productive or just having a laugh , social circle definitely helps .
Whenever I feel like I have no one , desire to smoke/binge surfing comes up .
And tbh , when you are addicted to certain things ... Your mind fucks with you . It will make you believe that you need these things to survive.
The biggest change is I don't have any major urges to smoke and I started exercising just after a week of quitting ( crazy , cuz last time I worked out was in October ) ... And i have been working out daily now ( bodyweight exercises) and am feeling stronger than last month .
I still have one more addiction to go i.e. internet . I keep on falling back into it , so , I will have to do something about it , again .
One thing I realised is focusing on doing something else is better than focusing on quitting addiction cuz even if I have completed 1000 days but my mind will still be obsessed with my addiction .
So , better to train your brain into thinking / obsessing about something fruitful .
Winning > Not losing .
