Ola amigos,

I myself haven't gotten my seduction career completely off the ground. However watching a few videos and series here and there can certainly help reinforce something learnt from GirlsChase e.g the importance of playfulness in seduction-Hank Moody. However I've come to the conclusion that if you want to model yourself around a fictional character or sexy man in pop culture, make sure that you're aware of your identity(check out Chase's excellent piece on the 9 Male Identities https://www.girlschase.com/content/9-ma ... -you-women) and if you decide to internalize certain traits and behaviours, make sure that they're congruent with your own identity first. e.g:

Hank Moody-Artist
Harvey Specter-Businessman, intellectual

It'll save you a lot of embarrassment when trying to act like Russel Brand in an elderly setting or trying to be Don Draper at a pool party.

*maybe it was the fact that I was 'trying' instead of being that caused the embarrassment. lol.

On that note, how important do you guys think it is to nail down an identity as a young and aspiring seducer? Identity and belonging is something I struggled with throughout high school and I feel unsure about my own personality other than from the feedback that I get from other people(which I suspect is mostly biased, but hey, feedback is feedback).

The fun thing about pickup is you can try out different archetypes, or "identities" on a whim. One night you can be a bad boy, the next a dandy. I had a friend who totally modelled Russel Brand for years. He poofed up his hair, wore flamboyant clothing, and took on his sense of humor. He even admitted he was playing a character. Now he's an adult, and he's just "himself."

Identity is an egoic construction, and fluid. You will never lock down one identity, but depending on your culture and the influence you subject yourself to, it will always change. Pop culture has a huge effect. Personally I am inspired by guys like Ragnar Lothbrok from Vikings, Donald Trump, and Don Draper. But more so from great literature like Hemingway and Tolstoy.

Don't try to trap yourself in any one way of being. Just grow and evolve, play and pretend as you'd like. That's all life is...a game.
