If America is pro hookup shouldn't that make it easier to get laid?

This is something that has crossed my mind recently. I have heard a couple times about America being a country that promotes hookup culture and yet most guys just aren't getting laid for a variety of reasons that we're already privy to. Playing too many videogames,watching porn,scrolling thru ig and tik tok simping for thots with OF, smoking weed,using online dating where it's 80% men,not working on their fundamentals.

If America is a sexually liberal country and women are encouraged,permitted to hookup shouldn't that make it easier for guys to take advantage and get laid? Or does it not matter because the vast majority of men today are too softened by the influence of the media and women and been bamboozled into believing masculinity is sexist,mysogynistic,fuckboys are bad etc.

I wonder how women find partners if a good chunk of men don't act like men. Ik in Chase's article on women's standards he kind of disproved the notion of 80% women fucking the top 20% of men cuz that's pretty lopsided and there are guys in the middle who luck into relationships and hookups.

Is the hookup culture only relevant to party environments like party towns,colleges, nightlife?

Additionally on a macro-level when women are allowed to be openly sexual in society they become more selective and there’s a larger imbalance of the top 20% of men sleeping with the vast majority of women.

Having been to Eastern Europe and gamed there myself, I strongly disagree. But I have pretty high standards when it comes to girls, so YMMV. I know tons of guys who are perfectly fine with the typically chubby/ugly American girl (I'd say most of my American wings definitely are).

I kinda disagree. I don't believe the percentage of unattractive girls not in relationships is that high. There are unattractive looking, out of shape girls who find guys to lock down. I also don't think they're that desperate that they will go to the lengths of a desperate man. The average desperate girl has a much better chance of getting laid/ getting a relationship than the average desperate guy and even they have some standards. Regardless guys have different tastes and ik "fat" and "unattractive" is relative to where you grow up. Some guys think a woman with a little belly is "fat" and will settle for nothing less than a slim Victoria's secret model body because that may be the norm in Ukraine or England.
