Is dating just going to suck for men until we reach 25 or older?

I think this is a really important distinction to make on this thread, and glad you pointed this out.

If you're 21 years old, you have solid access to 17-24 year old women.
If you're 24 years old, you have solid access to 17-27 year old women.
If you're 28 years old, you still have access to 17-21 year old women, but it's much harder to connect with them and find them. Additionally, you also have solid access to 22-33 year old women.
If you're 33 years old, you still have access to 17-23 year old women, but it's even harder to connect with them. You'll have solid access to 24-40 year old women.

These are just rough estimates - the basic idea is that your pool gets bigger, but it becomes a bigger problem connecting to the younger women. It's also equally easier to purely be a lover with younger women - you're the older secret lover that her friends don't know about, but provide great sex and a mature FB situation. That's a desirable thing for a lot of young women 18-23 years old.

As a 32 year old guy, in 2019 the youngest girl I went on a date with was 18, and the oldest was in her early 40s. Huge range, and way more opportunities across the board, but very hard to connect with the younger girls. The youngest girl I had sex with was 20.

I heard older women are a lot harder the older you are, is that true? How do you show you’re a lover to them and sleep with them? A lot of older chicks with no kids are tryna settle down ASAP with anyone lol.

hit the gym hard. focus on that instead of pickup for a while. a lot more guys are getting laid through being ripped than pickup. in 2-3 months your body will be considerably better and your confidence will be up a lot. your better looks plus increased confidence should have a very positive effect on your ability to implement pickup theory.

also, all this pickup theory probably has created an illusion in your mind that you have to do more than what is necessary to get laid. i don't care what the majority of this forum says, getting laid regularly is not that hard. getting started is the only hard part. get in shape and find a way of dress that works for you. shit probably will realistically get better for you as you get older. keep your head up and do the best you can now.

I'm 23. And I noticed after tallying my lay count that I've slept with 66 different girls to date. So I strongly suggest you ditch the perspective that just because you haven't been successful recently it's because of your age (which you can't change).

What you can change is everything GC recommends changing, and the malleable factors that there are hundreds of articles and thousands of forum posts on. I really hope you realize the opportunity in front of you and take advantage of it.

That's why I decided to wait till I'm 25. It's dumb to endlessly chase after these women who don't want me. It's hella annoying. Most women just don't really like younger men unless you are exceptional. So it's a cool game to expect me to improve before I turn that age because I don't have the money to pay for coaching.

As other posters have stated, you're going to be closer in age to young hot chicks and thus they'll be more likely to comply with you. Additionally, there really isn't a stigma associated with not having good game at that age - it's kind of expected. If you wait until your late 20's or later, then there will be a stigma. It won't be easy, but if you really want this then you'll stop making excuses and just do the work.

Nah bro I don't think you get it. I'm fucking Waking on eggshells everywhere I go at this age. It's fucking torture. When will women out in this level of work to get men? Never.

Bro I'm just not at that place. Dating is so extremely difficult in 2020. It's literally rocket science. Theres no work to put in it's constantly draining your self esteem getting rejected.

I’m telling you, nothing will change in two years if you’re not working on anything. You won’t just be 25 and girls will smell it on you. I know everyone is against advice on working out, but that also makes you look more mature, if you have facial hair grow it out. I don’t recommend you wait for yourself to be 2 years older, maybe you can focus on working out for a few months then get back into the game.

Yeah I try to help because I know how hard it can be sometimes because of negative beliefs, some have a hard time and I deal with this as well, so I try to help when I can.

So you don’t recommend on waiting for improvement then approaching? Just keep going out and approaching as you improve yourself at the same time? I feel sometimes I should wait until I’m lean, but that won’t be for months and I can’t wait that long.

I feel I have to be near perfect for many women to want me; lean, have a good career and a lot of money, etc. I fight this limiting belief a lot.

I don’t like the waiting thing personally but I know this is a popular thought.

I'm closing this thread. It is non-productive, and will just encourage more whining.

First, I am going to leave a bit of advice for Shake&Bake and other demoralized guys.

A negative mindset is going to hurt your success with women. This should be the first thing you work on improving. You have to develop a healthy, positive internal dialog. You have to believe in yourself before anyone else will believe in you. There are millions of pages of instruction on this topic available on the Internet, all you need to do is start looking.

A good, time tested method of improving your inner dialog and belief in your self is Affirmations. Again, much is available on the Internet about them. An affirmation is a written one page statement you read at least once a day. A simple short example is...

I am a great guy.
Women love me.
People want to be my friend.
I am successful an whatever I attempt to do.

You write it yourself, and tailor it to your weaknesses and what you wish to accomplish, and improve it over time.

Also, stop thinking negative thoughts. Have some favorite memory or fantasy handy that you can switch to whenever you find your self in a negative thought spiral. Use that to get your mind off the negativity. Over time you will get better because your being more positive about yourself.

You are in control of your thoughts, just like every other part of your body. You just have to try.

You are what you think, think good stuff.

And I'm giving you more homework. There are 100K posts on this site. Pick a problem you have and search for posts on how to fix it. Use the Internet to find out additional information.

All of the above works if you actually do it.
