Hello experts!

I'm an amateur who does a lot of random things without knowing if it is good or bad and again I'm struggling with a question that will be probably basic for you, but I need to hear your advice.

Last weekend I was at a trip with my colleagues, one of them is a cute girl. When the mood was good one of the colleagues said a joke - that I will learn the girl how to smoke. It's an ambiguous joke, because the term "smoking" in our language is also a slang term for blowjob. So the original meaning is "to learn her to smoke marihuana" and the alternative meaning is "to learn her to do blowjob". Without hesitation I took the "right" blowjob meaning and replied "Oh sure, but not like this, in front of you all" The girl laughted as when somebody said some absurd joke.

It was fun for me, but as I said I usually don't have a clue if I'm doing good or bad or how the girl likes it. What do you think about it?

Good job picking up on the opportunity to set up a frame like that. You're also doing it to have fun, which is great. Girls have a nose for intentions - I swear to god, there's some kind of vibe-reader phenotype that comes with having two X chromosomes. If you're just saying stuff like that to try and get in her pants, she'll probably be able to tell (might still go with it if she likes you but tryhard is still tryhard). If you're saying stuff like that because you're a fun, sexual guy, she'll pick up on that too.

Having fun with stuff like that is the best thing you can do. Makes it easier for you if you're not comfortable with it yet, comes off as more natural since you're not just trying to get laid, and if it doesn't work you're not worried - you were just having fun anyway.
