Karea’s Post on California Pimp (Source?)

Karea had written an article (2-part series) on Girlschase titled “The Legend of California Pimp.” He mentions that Filmore Slim actually had hundreds of videos recorded of how he picked up women. The entirety of his game was recorded supposedly. Where are these videos now and how can I access them? Clearly, the knowledge in them is so astounding that Karea and others benefited their game greatly.

Eww what could I learn from a porno as an example would be a thought that I would have when I first stumbled into the article. I vaguely remembered it but that thought was still there until I re-read it. And then the comments cuz they were kinda fun to read, and also a little heartbreaking to remember that the site has had its downs

Edit: better question -- do you still think there are honest takeaways we could learn from? If memory serves Karea did say that there was a mixture of real and scripted on there. Honestly I don't think I ever even looked it up to learn, may do that soon

Not gonna edit out the first bits, but definitely still think the comment about not getting paid was funny. Still don't know why lol. Like it's business and it shouldn't be funny, cuz it's serious but it still makes me chuckle

Main Reason For Adding Another Edit: I think it's cool how you can come back to something years later and have a totally different perspective on it! Like knowing what, arguably little in the grand scheme of things, I know now about NLP I think there's a lot of things you could takeaway from something like this whether it's fake or not!

Yeah. So I went ahead and looked through some of the stuff - the videos with Slim look to be unscripted for the most part and look genuine. (Although I am lacking in experience with women … the escalation seems natural). The girls come directly to his apartment and it does show him using a compliance ladder. He asks for small requests first and makes the girl pretend and act out what she would do if she were a “bad girl.” The article that Karea wrote was spot- on in its information and being able to see it visually is definitely a learning experience. So no, it’s not bang bang from the start - it is a process. Slim manages to get his lays within a half hour. The newer videos on the website definitely seem scripted, though. So if you’re going to look into it you’re better off filtering the archives to the mid 2000s or so.

Side note : I do think that to benefit from these videos you need a certain level of experience with women already. These videos would take you from 60 to 90 but not from 0 to 30.

It looks a lot like Pierre Woodman was doing also at his beginning, when he was less famous (ie. making girls to come to his place for a casting for photos, then talking them into doing a porn scene).

He also claimed it wasn't scripted (and interactions and reactions indeed seems geniune), but it feels like a gray area regarding to what extent this is sex work.

Specifically, even when the interactions are filmed from the encounter to sex (usually around 30 minutes), they never show:
- when the girl is paid
- when the girl signs the contract for diffusion of the images

Which seems weird. Because if the girl want to do photos, she is obviously expecting payment in return. And we can safely assumed that, even more so, she is expecting a payment to agree to broadcast the image of her fucking in front of a camera.

Not saying there is no game involved and nothing to learn from it, but this seems like more heavily tilted towards sex work rather than seduction.

Damn. Somehow missed this thread for a while (ok the title seemed uninteresting).

Surveyor is a complete noob when it comes to this sort of thing, and sometimes a little uncalibrated and idiotic, but he has a phenomenal general-purpose eye for detail. (kinda in the job description, yknow)

Bloody hell. Yeah, this is real.

Obviously, as Karea suggested I'm not stupid enough to even think about trying moves like that, but at least I can appreciate them. This guy is brilliant. Puts the "artist" in "PUA".



Now, obviously there's a major self-selection bias (screening) going on with the type of girls who answer the ads, but still...just eye-opening.

And of course, this guy doesn't have a 100% success rate. No one does. We're not seeing the girls who end up saying no for whatever reason.

Still. Just amazing what goes on inside the average woman's head. At least in his/my 21st-century California culture (and yes, it has at least as much to do with culture as biology).
And for that alone, it's worth watching. For me, living in urban California, it's quite concrete. That woman walking out of the coffee shop could have been in one of his videos.

Edit: I wrote ^^ after watching FIVE MINUTES of this guy.

After a few more minutes of watching the magic show (an apt analogy...those who understand will understand) I gleaned some fundamental insights about what this thing we call "seduction" is, in essence, at its root. Ok I actually knew that intellectually already, as if that matters. But I really wasn't getting part of it until now.

I should probably go to bed and let my subconscious process this all now.

^ nothing to be embarrassed about, i once believed that the "dancing bear" was legit, even was the inspiration to the skills method........ Till i dated a girl that was an actress that got paid to participate in the crowed.... It is staged i don't care what anybody says is obvious......

Use the article and field test some of the yes ladder etc.... Mode one was made of a porn firm...... A lot of my method was develop from the movie magic mike, and dancing bear videos.... I field tested and i got laid tons.... but enough with the silliness.....

The older stuff to me definitely seems real. I can see why the newer stuff would be staged - especially with the current times we live in where it can be misconstrued as assault (if it were the same scenario as when Slim was making videos in the 2000s). That too, perhaps they want more videos out and more efficiently, which a staged format would be better at.
