Way I see it, it's fine to let her stay the night if it seems like she's wanting it but it's too fast and overwhelming for her. It doesn't work well if she's just not into it or if the escalation went down a wrong turn. Basically letting her stay the night loses a bit of excitement in exchange for comfort.
