Just finished this earlier. Great watch. Meditative, reflective with a more mature perspective on life and everything else in between (either you get it or you don't). Always good to see Mys in good spirits. To be fair, he was always the same with the humbleness (according to senior members who met him multiple times in-field and in-person). It's just the ""hollywood / celebrity" persona blew things out of proportion as per usual. The dude's lifework changed my life, so I'm forever grateful. The principles behind his stuff STILL work (as I discovered for the nth time this past Friday night).

Great interview, its cool to see that hes still so strongly interested in magic, google earth and nerdy tech stuff. It was also interesting see him talk about more inner game stuff as he always seems to solely focus on the technical side. Must have been torturous for him to develop Mystery Method, especially since the internet was not as prevalent back then and there was no resources to learn from. His contributions and influence to the community are second to none, easily the most influential person in the community. I feel like a lot of things nowadays are derived or evolved versions of his teachings.

I wonder what his journey was like in his early gaming days before he got good. What experiences caused him to have certain epiphanies that led to important discoveries. The only one I can recall is that he mentioned he discovered the whole A3 qualification stage from some chick who was also into magic.
