Hi guys,

Lately I have been wondering about my smile. I have been improving body language, movements, walking, eye contact, etc. but I feel that my smile may be a little off. I don't know how everyone else goes about developing a sexy smile that they can recall whenever they need it. Is it best to practice facial expressions in the mirror regularly? How would I go about this? Or should this just come naturally, by 100% winging it?

Thanks in advance

Hey fox

Yeah, I practised in the mirror to work on mine. And I looked at a bunch of photographs of celebrities and male models. It's more of a half smile to be honest. You raise one side of your mouth with your lips closed, and then slightly raise the opposite eyebrow. Angle your face slightly so you are looking out of the central corner of one of your eyes. This should all happen very slowly aswell.

There's even research out there that suggests your left side is more attractive. Personally I don't buy into into that, but just so you are aware...

Cheers

+1 on Jarradical.

Also, eyes play a huuge part of your body language. I'm not sure if there's a research on it, but how much open/closed your eyelids are, directions you tend to look when thinking, and a plethora of other stuff that's tied up to your current emotional state, has an effect on your eyes.

I don't wanna make it sound like this is an eye-contact-off-topic answer, but when people comment on someone else's "smile", they usually mean the whole congruency on their face. Also one can think that one will just remember those tips when out getting numbers, but it's all different on the field though, like some sort of nonverbal signals martial arts one has to practice on the mirror over and over, even if it feels silly at the beginning, until unconscious mastery..

Some people generally find it hard to model a sexy smile. It can appear fake or try hard.
In this case, I tell them to just smile genuinely.
A sexy smile is somewhat similar to a cheeky smile.
All you have to do is think of something really intriguing... that makes you smile.
Practice holding that smile in a mirror.
