Question about Psycho-Cybernetics: How do I create self-image “Prompts” that work as a beginner?

Thanks for the pieces of history @TestY

Personally i’m only interested in state control of the practical sense at this point. I cant help but feel like concepts like “god mode” or unshakeable senses of confidence are a form of mental masturbation.
Yes, "god mode" or other types of state-based game based on short-term "excitation"/inhibition busting, for example in the style of "Simple Pickup", isn't necessarily the most useful. To focus on skill rather than state is more sustainable, and perhaps especially as one gets older.

This is not what this thread is about, though, imo. There's a big difference between changing one's self-concept as per Maxwell Maltz and Steve Andreas on the one hand, and RSD/Simple pickup types of state game/god mode on the other. Maxwell Maltz' stuff is much more about working on one's vibe. And vibe is central to one's game. It doesn't have to be high energy, the vibe of contentment is for example one of the most useful vibes one could bring.

@TestY wholeheartedly agree, i felt like it had to be said because it seems like the latter is what most people care about.

@Kaida himself mentions tapping into what id consider “god mode” where u do no wrong. He saw it wasnt very sustainable.

But yeah mostly agree, felt like the distinction needed to be made at the slight risk of derailing, since quick pump ups seem to be most popular.

I agree, something that there is a big difference is "stateless" game, where you don't pump your state to do these "high adrenaline" approaches but rather use vibe as the engine that drives your game.
