She said she likes me or does she want me to say I love you to keep it going. I didn't sleep with her until the 3rd p

I got the idea that she wanted me to ask her to be her boyfriend she was already imagining us traveling together. So I did ask her to date exclusively a couple weeks ago before committing to full blown. I did miss her families New Year's Eve party.
Should I wait 2 or 3 days to text her back. If so what should I say.
