Social Media presence for men: what's the right way to do it?

I know Chase and other specialists believe that men should get off social media. Social media is designed for women and always works in their favor (validation, beauty photos, superficial emotions, and girls having so many options because men rush into their profiles and DMs).

The thing is, for those of us who stay (and in my case, social media is a tool for work), how should we behave to convey a powerful image? I struggle with this because I don’t take selfies (I find them needy) and I don’t post many stories, especially not the motivational gym/work/personal shit to show how interesting I am. I find that lame.

But with profiles on Instagram (where all the girls are), TikTok, Facebook, and X, sometimes I need to post something to avoid looking awkward. I usually try to post technical content (like photos or videos demonstrating certain techniques) or something "manly," like the lumber work I do (including chainsaws, tractors, fire, etc.), or motorcycles I ride.

Now, Instagram even shows everyone the reels I like, which is why I stopped liking them or only like manly stuff (jet fighters, racing cars, etc.). I plan to stay on social media because it provides information, important contacts, and has also helped me get a few girls over the years.

So, what’s your strategy in terms of frequency and content for your social media?
