i usually ignore female advice but i really like this genz girl, cause she nitpicks and she really gets it, i think she is learned from boyfriend tbh, she is more into baggy though....

Going to add if you are interested in changing or upgrading style for the gen z girls if you are short, accessories, hair etc..

how to upgrade (for gen z syle), she mentions same shit i been saying anyways :

part 2 is the op.....

part 3 is for the shorter men:

part 4 is what spikes talks about a lot which is kind of annoying but she explain in practical way without the trolling, accessories, bleaching etc... :

the new skinny jeans and Chelsey(just kidding but the new uniform) :

I hate it.

To me, it looks sloppy, makes your feet look small and hides your physique.
It feels like a trend for fat people.

And don’t get me started on the boxy shirts with crew necks.

I can’t wait for it to go away.

This is what I used to dress like back when I first started experimenting with baggy style 2 years ago. Lately I’ve been experimenting with going even baggier. By wearing t shirts in size XXL and baggy jeans with an even wider leg opening. I’ve seen what results I get when I field test it this weekend.

I hate it.

Post girls you get. I want to see something

I finally bought baggy jeans + one of those feather-padded parka

Instant results, got compliments from everyone, I get more approach invitations, it just works

Thanks Skills, great info :)

how many inches are you wearing? I have between 7 and 8.5" laid flat. I usually like wearing 8" for denim. the extra baggy trendy stuff I see around is probably bigger. the trend is definitely not just college age either... lots of older women are wearing extremely baggy style too.

for men though, going really trendy is almost counter-culture... can look kind of childish unless you're in a hip environment or at young venues or college town. it definitely has not crossed over to regular adult menswear, unlike women's. for example casual friday at an office it is not "mainstream" unlike for women of all ages.... you would get weird looks.

it's interesting to think about, because assimilating with the young folk and their trends is like being the best dressed in their tribe... vs. the appeal of the older high status guy is almost alpha vs. sigma like @DonGately style wearing suits. I think he would be the more attractive archetype if you met a lone wolf (I think he is NYC, not dealing with isolated college social environment)... it would just stick out like a sore thumb at an 18+ college bar.

38 years old so more of a millennial.

But I lived through this trend already in the 90’s so it’s boring for me.

Xer here. Yes. This for the kids. I retried this style from 2019-2024 as it was counter cyclical and then up and coming where I live (Chinatown) it’s how I dresssed as a kid. But I am going back to a balanced silhouette with a lean towards more fitting.

- skinnier jeans for the bottom silhouette. - dressing it up a lot more with a jacket , vintage button downs, and cap toe oxfords (3-4x a week) for fun
- highly specific low-run silk screen tees from Instagram artists

I am keeping 3 pairs of baggier pants but the parapa the rapper thing isn’t cute anymore since it’s become mid cycle and the gray in my beard is more pronounced than it was two years ago.

Anything skinnier than straight cut jeans is time machine... tailored fit/skinny fit is over

Jeans and oxfords... brah!

Well I am glad this will not be the pua uniform... That way the style last longer and is more effective...
yeah no market saturation... and saves you jean money, plus after styles change you can alter them down and make a whole other pair from all that extra fabric, sheesh....

@Spike is dark indigo blue in style for guys? I've only ever seen girls wear the faded light blue, and maybe mid-dark grey. I thought the whole raw denim craze went away with the hipster workwear look

Dark indigo is in, but i see it more with online trending not in real life, but spike is way ahead on style than all of us, he was the one that told me about baggy a year or 2 before baggy(but i told him about cropping), his only community claim to fame to be honest... So @Adventurer it was spike. i was the one bringing to the forum cause he was banned and he is kind of bad at explaining shit! I personally will going to get me a pair...

Really informative video, I learned a lot. Cheers for sharing.

Crazy how much fashion has changed in the last 5 years. It feels like the past 20 years was very gradual, now all of a sudden EVERYTHING is different.

It's like Gen Z just decided to give a big finger at Millennial fashion and back to the 80s and 90s lol. Same thing with music (Sabrina Carpenter, Olivia Rodrigo - very retro nostalgic style) and hobbies (rollerskates and board games are back).

Wonder how much we have Stranger Things to thank for this... lol
