I work in a foreign country but just started to learn the native language, forcing me to communicate with people in english for now. I want to get a girl that works with me, but she speaks english poorly, making communication hard.
She is super flirty girl and flirts A LOT with pretty much every guy around. Except me: maybe because of this communication issue, she is much more reserved and behaves in a meeker way with me. Specially if we are talking alone. In a group talk, she is bolder. Don`t know if this is good or bad for my situation, to be honest.
She complains (quite a lot, in fact) to other people in the company that I should talk to her in her language, but 1) since I started to learn it now, I fear looking like a fool around her and 2) I fear that if we "level the playing field", she will just behave in her generic, flirty way, like she does with everyone else.
What should I do? Communication will not be very good either way. Do I have more chance talking to her in her native language (disadvantage for me) or in english (disadvantage for her)? Or just give up?
