thoughts on the domino effect method

i wanted to see if you guys had any thoughts on this theory that Justin Wayne dating calls the domino effect. basically the idea is to build a romantic connection with the girl before you get the number. he says ideally you want to kiss them and take them on an instant date. according to the guy the domino effect limits flaking with girls. personally to me escalating like that with a stranger comes across as needy.
