Hello Beginner Here
so recently a few months ago I applied for a job in life insurance. But in order to sell life insurance I have to get a license. So they gave me studying material and places to take the test. during the time of studying they send me two or three people to check up on me to see how I'm doing. One of them was a woman that text me to see how I'm doing. I thought nothing of it. To be honest with you I thought she was going to be a middle-aged woman that's a little overweight.
cut forwarded to a a couple of weeks later I failed my exam twice. because of that she offered to help me with my studies. so we decided to video chat. when I first saw her wow she was nothing with I expect it. A sexy Latino women, supermodel type, barely older than me. ( Im 29 her being 35). Doing our first meeting there were some little light flirtation but nothing too big. At the end of the meeting she asked me if I have any kids. I said I have no kids, single, live by myself. she told me she was in the same boat as me. I knew something was there after the first meeting so I knew I had to make a move.
but I didn't make a move. mainly because despite the little flirtation. the conversation seemed so professional. I've tried a little bit to get off the job conversation but with little to no success. So each meeting was professional with a little flirtation. although during those meetings she does ask me at least one personal questions or two.
So by the third week of our meeting I kind of expected the attraction has expired or will expire soon. so I decided no matter how the conversation goes or how professional it is. I'm just going to ask her out. If nothing happens and I get rejected at least I can learn and get better for the next time. however during that meeting she suggested that after I pass we should go celebrate with drinks or lunch. I said I was going to ask you the same thing.
so it was the day of my test for the fifth time. she text me that morning good luck. I text back thank you you're so sweet (probably not the sexiest text I made I'll do better next time). After that I pass the test later on that day I texted her about it. she was so happy. I text to her we should go celebrate. she text back definitely. afterwards I texted back 10 minutes later saying we should get drinks whenever you're available this week. I have not heard from her since this text.
I'm probably going to text her again if nothing else but to persist and see if that works.
but on the off chance it doesn't my questions are this.
1. What can I done to do better?
2. What are your overall thoughts of the situation?
3. Getting girls on dates is my biggest sticking point right now. no matter how well it's going. I can never convince them to go on a date with me. how do I change that?
