couldn't fit everything in the subject title, but my question is, was there a time in history in which us guys, men, didn't need to seek out help from a dating coach or Pick-Up Artist on how to meet women, talk to them and attract them? I like to feel there was a time in history in which society, life, reality was like that, in which we didn't need to seek out help from sites, companies such as GirlsChase, RSD, Simple Pickup, BadBoy, David DeAngelo, Kezia Noble, etc., All the different dating coach and seduction companies you think of, you name it, etc.

Was there a time in history in which us guys, men, in which knowing how to approach and attract, seduce, getting a girlfriend was more natural instinctive common sense or was just learned more faster, skills were learned more earlier on?

Some people say its loss of masculinity on a large scale in life, society, but i'm sure there are other factors, I've heard that for many generations, many centuries, relationships started because the couples were set up, kinda similar to arranged marriages in India, so from my guess, it sounds like approaching was less necessary back then.

Anyway, what you think have been the factors, causes or you think I have kind of partially answered some of my own question?

There was a time in history where, nerds were nerds, and studs were studs.
The nerds were frustrated and became Newton.
The studs were sleeping around, and settled down one day.

The companies were found on a premise: nerds can become studs.
Thus we have sites like these.

I lolled at this.

In small environments such as villages and such there is not much need for seduction. The pool you can choose from and practice on is much limited so there's no need or means for game. In urban environments there were people who studied seduction (maybe not as systemized), there were naturals who had fucked married women, had threesomes etc and there were men /creeps who made women dry as fuck when they went near them. Chase has an article about it. Urbanisation and game or such I can't remember it.

And self improvement has been a topic of discussion for millennia.

Arranged marriages are not that bad of an idea actually. It worked for a lot of time. People made the arrangements based on logic (including things like attractiveness of the couples as well) and it worked (possibly due to limited options as well). There was a study which showed divorce rates were lower among arranged marriages. Overall I don't think things changed *that much*.

But now because of the anonymity of urban environments, and sites like girlschase we can take our love, sex life in our own hands. Seduction might be more accessible to public but that's normal considering technology and urbanisation.

Imagine if you never found this site, what would you do? If you were serious about learning seduction you would learn it as you go along and many people still do this, the only difference is that it's slower. I have a friend who is good with girls and he did not study seduction (through book learning). But I reached his level in 2 years (more or less) whereas he has been trying to fuck chicks and succeeding for 6 years.

Btw, not related but, one of my natural friends swear that his 19 year old roommate who was ugly asf but a professional dancer in a salsa festival fucked around average three 9s a day. Goes to show how much status (and possibly preselection) can get women wet :D

this was a post I got from somewhere: "Historically, courtship looked something like this: a knight, or an aristocratic man went to a woman’s father and proposed marriage and the girl obliged her father. The future husband got a nice sum of money or some sort of barn yard animal along with a new wife.

Sadly, it is no longer customary that your parents choose your mate for you."

And earlier, parents usually married off their sons as well as their daughters. Even Henry VIII got his first wife that way!

I got this from a pick-up group on Facebook, makes a lot of sense: "In the past, were these skills more common? NO. Big fat N O. In previous generations, couples were setup, sometimes by their parents, or by their church.

Your ability to date who you wanted was very limited, and thus, game, was non existent for most.

You only met people in your existing social circles, which were very limited and controlled by the church, the adults, and\or the town you lived in.

Before the Internet, smart phones, phones, and cars, your ability was almost zero to meet new people. Even the colleges were NOT co-ed.

Depending on what country you are from, the time frame is a bit different for the "ability" to even meet people outside your social circles.

In the USA, the car culture came in during the 1950s, and this, for the first time, gave people the ability to get out of their towns and physically meet people in other areas. Also gave them an easy place to hook up (in the back seat).

Before this point (in the USA), most relationships were "pre-arranged"."

haven't logged in here in a while, but I've also heard that feminism created the pick-up community, or is just a huge factor for why it started in the first place.

Curious to know, what did feminism have to do with the creation of the pick up community
