As of this moment I have only banged 12 women, 8 of which have been in the last six months, all from night game. I know that fundamental pickup skills are what I need to pursue. In my view, this means I need to prioritize:
(1) Approaching more sets (I only approach 3-10 sets a night before either pulling, getting stuck in a long set or giving up)
(2) Improving vocals, eye contact, and developing a calmer vibe in general
(3) More persistence (I quit if the girl doesn't appear to want to talk or its clear she has no interest)
There are others as well, but these are the big ones that I know if I did more of I would get more results. I decided to work on these basic things for my first 50 lays so that my intuition improves, then transition into doing more advanced tech. However, I want to make sure this is the right choice. I'm not sure what other pua's focused on as they were learning. I'm really trying to avoid the natural approach, where I go out, approach a lot, and hope that my intuition will naturally and subconsciously improve perpetually - the reason being is that, assuming the natural approach is truly how one gets better, then there is no reason why I should consciously try anything while out other than hitting on more chicks, going harder, and just trying to get laid; my own technical improvement basically becomes out of my own control and everything revolves around simply (1) hitting on more chicks, (2) being more persistent, and (3) getting the lay (just focus on getting laid bro!!), but I am aware there is much more to actually improving skill than this.
So my question really is:
(1) What are the things a pua must prioritize when sarging in order to both improve his results and his skill?
(2) In what manner does a pua add on new material/techniques in order to improve his results and skill? (In other words, at what point do you decide "Ok, I'm ready to try out doing some mystery method stuff, or some sex talk stuff, or gunwiches stuff, etc.")
This post may appear autistic, and I hope thats alright. Sometimes I feel very clear of what I must do to get better at pickup (like tonight, for example, I know I need to (1) try out some warm up lines, (2) approach more sets, (3) approach faster, and (4) slow down my voice); but there are moments where I want to jump ahead -- happens after every lay pretty much where as a result I feel "alright, now I'm ready to do some advanced stuff." This results in a haphazard mess of priorities, causing an increase in my anxiety and a dip in my results.
Personally, I really overthink things. This is a personal quality that will never go away, and frankly I don't want it to because I enjoy thinking about things, daydreaming, and so on. But if my priorities are all over the place, this means more things I will think about, causing more self-doubt when I sarge. My big fear is taking one wrong step and going totally off track, so to speak, wasting years of my time on nonsense due to simply being misguided. Hope this makes sense.
