I've had a couple cases over the past few weeks where a girl cancelled a date on me last minute. It's usually along the lines of "too much work", "too sick", etc etc. I know that Chase, in one of his articles, suggest to make it seem like its no big deal. So usually what I've been texting back goes along the lines of:
Me: "Hey no worries, hope you feel better
"/"Don't worry about it, we'll find another time"
Then after, I usually give a day's silence before texting back again to reschedule in order not to seem too eager.
However, I've always had a nagging feeling that something like "Hey no worries, hope you feel better
" might make it seem like I'm too nice of a guy. Do you guys have any thoughts on this? What's a good strategy you have found to respond to last minute flakes while conveying 1) you're not a pushover, 2) you're a very confident guy who doesn't get affected by it?
Thanks!
