I have been trying some new outfits infield. I usually wear a edgy heavy metal look. Each outfit that I tried had girls giving me different IOI's. Thought that maybe you could share your insight and help me determine what outfit is best.

- Heavy metal look. Heavy metal tshirt, cheap jeans, chuck taylors (Lots of girls eye locking with me and smiling.)
- More designer look but a llittle edgy still. brown boots, designer jeans, plain black tshirt, black leather jacket. (Lots of eye contact, 2 girls elevator eyed me up. Just 2 though)
- really non try hard look. Just cheap jeans and a cheap polo shirt and old chuck taylors. Was just curious to see what would happen. (Lots eye contact, when I and the girl locked eye contact she would look down)

I am noticing these body language cues just as I walk around throughout the day not night game or anything to give you context (I am a day gamer)

Thanks!!!

Honestly, depends what kind of girls you want. Do you want rocker party chicks? The first outfit. Do you want more high end/fashionable girls? Then the second one.

Above all though, just make sure you look good, your clothes are form fitting, attractive, with a slight edge to them.

i think the best look for me is clean jeans and a clean t shirt. i like black v necks and also graphic tees in light blue to match my eyes. requires no thought. when i dress nicer i get attention and numbers but don’t pull.

Thank you this kinda resonates with what I've witnessed as well!!!

I'm sorry to be the resident nitpicker but this doesn't make much if any sense to me. :) Let's say I fancy rocker girls and fitness girls as well. My categories are rather different (for the rocker girl) but we can stick with rocker girls for the sake of argument. Do you suggest that in the morning I have to decide today whether I want to attract rocker girls and repel fitness girls today (or vice versa) and dress for that? Do you suggest that rocker girls can only be attracted to rocker guys but not fitness guys and fitness girls can only be attracted to fitness guys but not rocker guys? That doesn't make much sense to me.

Girls Chase has a style advisor called Darius Belejevas and like every sensible style advisor he suggests to dress for your personality type. Other systems exist of the same ultimate effect. So let's say, again, following your categories that my style if half rocker - half fitness. I don't have to struggle in front of the wardrobe every morning whether today I want to attract rocker girls or fitness girls, rather I can just dress for myself: a fitness rocker. Some rocker girls and some fitness girls will just like me or hate me for who I am anyway. Besides, some rocker girls may find "rocker only" guys boring or similarly some fitness girls may find "fitness only" guys boring but how about a fitness rocker? That may sounds interesting to them.

Somehow forums often end up having worse community advice than you can find on their respective mother sites. I don't really know the reason for that.

Okay, this was the sensible part. :)

The advice came across to me a bit different to me in that yes most girls are a younger more rocker chick are common to like me but that it is not rare for someone of a different genre to like me as well.

But ultimately I didn't fail to attract other genre's.

When I wore the designer look a older classier chick was more interested (most of the time). But it was not the only genre. So his advice made complete sense to me and when put in practice a lot like how style should be working for some based on what you said above.

I did feel that it gave the most leverage for the girl I was most interested in but did not exclude other genre's

I would never comtemplate how to dress both rocker and fitness at the same time.

Thank you for the links about good style I will read them!!!

Anyways I really don't like arguing with people so that is all that I will say.
From where I'm coming from the terms designer and rocker aren't oxymorons. At all. Maybe it's just me. Actually quite a few of the influential menswear designers (at least the ones I used to care about) are quite big on the rocker style too. OK, I'm a little out of the loop on what's totally current to the day. Of course street fashion with every guy and gal showing his or her bare ankle in winter and look the same is a disaster.

Space, my post wasn't an absolute statement, like, "If you wear rocker clothes you'll only attract rocker chicks" but moreso it'll probably be easier. Just like, you can attract blonde bimbos being a skinny nerdy guy (some of them will be into you), but it'll be easier if you're tanned and jacked. Or another example, it's easier to attract vegan girls if you're vegan, but it's not an absolute.

It's moreso building on commonalities that makes it easier. Wearing rocker clothes gives commonalities between the two of you at a first glance. I will agree that my post did sound like I was talking in absolutes though, fair point. :)

Depends where your vibe is, where you live, etc. I live in a hot country with high levels of sexual competition, and I find that what works best for me are clean cut, slightly conservative clothes. Simple stuff like dark jeans, black and grey t shirts, nice watch, white sneakers or brown boots, simple casual button down shirt. But I'm a tall white guy, so something different may work with your natural looks. It is interesting to me though that here, the guys who dress in "sexy" clothes like deep cuts, ripped jeans, leather bracelets and the like don't really get much action. It seems cheesy and try hard here. The guys who kill it with women here usually have nice combed hair, black t shirt and jeans with a nice cologne, watch and slim sneakers. Hope this helps!

really depends on the kinds of girls you're going for and where you live, lol....

Look that best works for me is fashionable sneakers coordinated with a fitted blazer of the same color, skinny dark jeans, and a light t-shirt. I also wear a fair bit of jewerly on my neck and hands. The end result is a "clean but edgy" look that looks pretty hot, if I say so myself.

Thats so true I was on vacation and everthing was backwards all of a sudden (becuase girls were attracted to a different style there). But to elaborate I am in West Coast looking for younger girls (20-33) that are fashionable that I can slow game (2-3 dates). Thank you so much!!! That look sounds so cool. I wish I could pull off jewelry on the neck and hands. Looks great on other guys I've seen who pull it off. I have always had trouble pulling it off though. But I will have to try a clean and edgy look congruent with me and my natural look (I have never been able to pull off jewelry without looking try hard for some reason. you are so lucky its a good look).

My style is a lot like your second option. If you want to go in that direction you can get some inspiration from Alex Costa on youtube.

Pooba hit it on the head, but I’m going to add 1 more and make it a nice even 3.

- depends on where you live
- what your looking to attract
- is it congruent with your personality/style

That’s all the matters. It can be designer, it can be discount. It doesn’t matter. A girl isn’t going to know whether it’s designer or not, and even if she did. That means she’s going to be close enough that your game needs to do the rest anyway.

If you lose a girl because of the price of your cloths... you have bigger problems than just that.

IOI’s a great and all and getting looks from different types is important to understand what attracts what..... but if you open your mouth and it all falls apart then what’s the point?
