Not sure why people here have been so anti-looks lately
For me the anti
@Spike brigade was cause his first LR was basically just a very explicit statement of intent after being approached himself. And he was a new poster saying he was the most advanced and I had no idea who Velasco was.
Until the last year or so I've mainly learned from
@Chase and
@Karea Ricardus D. ... And Karea wrote:
relying on approach invitations, and on girls liking you from the get go, is playing green-light girls. This isn't game in my book. It's freebies. It's like going to Asia, or gaming ugly girls, a downhill battle. There's not much skill required. Just handle logistics, be cool and gradually escalate and, done [...] yellow lights. That's where the GAME is actually played. Man if she likes you from the open, it's easy
But Chase has always written about fundamentals and it's a major focus of his book. I started with learning to walk slow before verbal game. And he's wrote many times about changing up his archetype in San Diego to get bottle blondes.
I have always considered both gym and fashion as very, very important. So personally I am not anti either of these. Of course maxx all variables and optimize to your target goal.
I still do not see the skill in playing only greens off AI's or being approached, especially if you then have zero skill to approach a shy studious girl in med school who thinks you dress like a teenager. But I've beaten that point to death in various spike threads.
Baggy maxing
Mustache maxing
Keychain maxing
Is trolling
My fav was VHS vs. Betamaxxing
Anyways, in terms of gymmaxxing vs fashionmaxxing, these don't seem like a tradeoff... It's like what's better for plants - sunlight or water?
But I think there are some nuanced aspects to the gym part. HORMONES.
It's more than the visual aspect of your build that could be captured with a photograph. It translates to presence like timid vs confident, pheromones, risk taking from testosterone which will actually influence whether you go approach a girl or not... Also impacts posture, the way you walk or sprawl out sitting... And general virility and sex drive, which will translate to your general vibe, state, reactiveness to shit tests, Karea x-factor, mirror neurons, etc...
So if you really had to rank the more influential variable, I'd say gym over fashion. Cause you can still seduce in a basic all-situation outfit even with less up front fascination. But if you are a sedentary guy even nailing an archetype... Your personality and energy is majorly affected beyond the effect of muscle mass and facial fat, etc.
But yeah, bothmaxxing...
