I've been going out with a girl who is a few years younger and in college still. It's been more than a month since I first started seeing her, and was able to get her to bed only after the 5th date. Right before that, she kept telling me how she wasn't looking for anything serious and that she might get too busy as the semester went on. She also said that she wasn't looking for a relationship and wanted to play things by ear, etc. She normally responds back to texts anywhere between a few hours and a day or two. My impression is that she might have either lost interest or is seeing other people at the same time.
Recently, I tried to see if she was free to meet and she texted back saying she was busy without offering an alternative time.
Since shes been rather flakey I waited a whole week before messaging her again. I told her I've been busy/traveling and so forth and if she'd be free to meet sometime. She responded:
"hey welcome back!!! how was traveling! sorry to hear things have been getting the best of ya. work and things?"
It was quite clear that since she didn't even address whether she'd be free to meet, she probably isn't very interested at this point. However, I am hoping to send off a last text so as to leave it in a ball-in-your-court scenario. The problem is, she never said yes or no, so I am not sure how to proceed. Would sending:
"Hey traveling was fun, been busy with projects at work. Seems ur pretty busy, why dont you let me know when things free up, etc" work?
I feel that since she never said yes/no, it might seem a bit passive aggressive to go that route. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thanks!
