I found this useful - thank you. I was often going straight in for the kill, and it seemed to have a low hit rate. I think, as you mentioned, I got that from 'models' which basically says don't use text to do anything other than set up a date.
But actually i've tested your method a little bit recently and it seems to work a bit better. Going in for the kill straight away seems a bit desperate / keen.
Funnily enough ... the past 6 girls I've number closed in day game , I've used the same text to for every one of them. And every one has responded. My text is -
"Hola"
Thats it. Just hola. But it kinda works because its a bit stupid (obviously using spanish instead of english) and they all seem to respond. A typical response is something like "Bonjourrrrrr how are you??"
And then I just go from there.
But yeh, i definitely like the idea of a little bit of banter and then attempt a soft close. I need to get better at transitioning into the soft close from banter though. it does take a little bit of creativity, depending on what the topic of the banter is ....
