Skills, first, the original point isn't that girls know about or understand what a "Pick Up Artist" is, or it's modern day version. The point was girls being approached by men and not liking that / being offended or outraged at it. That is universal and requires the girl only be somewhat attractive and have reached puberty.
Not knowing about "PUA" or who Mystery is etc. is just another strawman.
The other point is that people lie. When I'm around a group of regular people who aren't in the community, you'd think I didn't know about PUA either, maybe that I'm just sort of socially aware or "good with women", haha (Rule 1 of Fight Club: Don't Talk About Fight Club). We don't know what girls don't know, that may be the case, it may not. However it's not relevant to the proper response anyway or the where the discussion was, since it was about girls getting approached (which guys have been doing since long before PUA and still do without formal knowledge of PUA).
